You do not need to be a full-time resident — just passionate about plants.
About the society
We encourage gardening within the local community and inspire new gardeners. For many members the greatest value is simply the combination of learning, inspiration and companionship that comes from meeting others who share a love of gardening.
Our emblem is the agapanthus — one of the plants the Roseland does best.
Our year
October to March
Autumn talks
A programme of talks running through the darker months — a chance to meet other members and a social network for people with a common interest.
Each summer
The annual Flower Show
Held in the village and open to entries across vegetables, fruit and horticulture. Everyone is encouraged to enter, however modest the crop.
Dates for both are shared in the WhatsApp community as soon as they are set.
